This is a large-scale international sporting event, bringing together approximately 400 athletes and coaches from 11 Southeast Asian countries.
The tournament will take place at the Ninh Binh Provincial Gymnasium in Hoa Lu ward. Over four days of competition, athletes will compete in 17 events in Kata and Kumite.
This is the third time Vietnam has hosted the Southeast Asian Karate Championship. In this competition, the Vietnamese Karate team's coaching staff sent 20 key athletes to compete in the Kumite and Kata events, with the target of winning at least one gold medal and fivebronze medals.
The Organizing Committee has assigned specific tasks to relevant departments and units, comprehensively preparing the necessary conditions to ensure the event runs smoothly, professionally, and according to international standards./.
