The North-South high-speed railway’s section running through Ninh Binh province has a total length of around 86 kilometers, spanning 21 wards and communes.
There are three stations in the province, including Phu Ly, Nam Dinh and Ninh Binh stations and three maintenance stations in Binh Son and Lien Minh communes and Yen Thang ward.
According to a leader of the Ninh Binh provincial People’s Committee, the total area of reclaimed land is 612.4 hectares, including 36.47 hectares of residential land, 513.5 hectares of farming land; 11,15 hectares of forest land and 51.49 hectares of other land.
To ensure land site clearance for the project, Ninh Binh province is planning to allocate 27 resettlement areas.
At the same time, the province has zoned off land lots surrounding stations under the model of TOD Transit-Oriented Development, an urban model based on public transport.
The province will also give priority resources to expedite construction of the road connecting the Eastern North-South expressway, national highways, provincial roads with the North-South high speed railway at a total investment capital of 1.17 trillion VND (51.4 million USD).
