Ninh Binh steps up investment, trade and tourism promotion in Shanghai, Suzhou (China)

An investment and tourism promotion delegation of Ninh Binh province paid a working trip to Shanghai and Suzhou cities of China from October 12-18 to promote cooperation and attract investment in Ninh Binh, especially in the strategic cooperation fields.
The delegation visit the Consulate General of Vietnam in Shanghai on October 12.
The delegation was led by Mai Van Tuat, Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and President of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee. Leaders of some departments, sectors, and agencies also joined the delegation.

At the session, Tuat briefed participants on the province’s potential, strengths and strategic development orientations and urged the Consulate General in Shanghai continues to serve as a bridge to help Ninh Binh access to Chinese partners and investors who wish to study cooperation opportunities in Ninh Binh, especially in the fields of tourism, culture and local exchange.

Tuat also hoped the Consulate General to help Ninh Binh attract investment in various sectors namely industry, logistics and hi-tech production; promote trade; organise trade fairs and forums and establish trade promotion channels between Ninh Binh and Chinese enterprises and localities.

Emphasising Ninh Binh’s mechanisms and policies in attracting investment, and cooperation opportunities, Tuat said the province is prioritising calling for investment in the fields of ecotourism, high-end resorts, entertainment, community tourism, urban tourism, conference centre, hotel, health care tourism; projects applying technology and digital transformation in tourism.
Tuat respectfully invited the Chairman of Sunriver Group to visit and survey investment opportunities in Ninh Binh soon.
The Chairman of Sunriver Group expressed his belief that with its strategic orientation and vision, Ninh Binh will increasingly attract more foreign investors, including Chinese enterprises and Sunriver Group.

At the meeting, the parties shared issues such as consulting on planning and design of industrial parks, green - smart urban areas; developing investment projects in technical infrastructure - energy - sustainable environment; cooperating in training high-quality human resources in the fields of engineering, technology and management.
Tuat pledged that the province would create the most favorable conditions in terms of administrative procedures, infrastructure, land fund, human resources and preferential policies so that international enterprises in general and Chinese enterprises in particular can feel secure in investing, producing and doing business effectively and long-term in the province.
Representatives of the Suzhou International Economic Cooperation Association and ZC Intel Tec Group said they would soon visit and work in Ninh Binh province to directly survey the potential and investment environment.
During the visit, the delegation conducted a field survey and coordinated the organisation of the Workshop "Introducing investment opportunities and exploring tourism in Ninh Binh province in Suzhou in 2025".

Speaking at the workshop, Tuat affirmed that Ninh Binh province always attaches importance to the success of investors in the development of the province. Ninh Binh is committed to creating the most favorable conditions for businesses throughout the investment process, from surveying, selecting locations, completing legal procedures to implementing and operating the project.
In addition, the province also focuses on developing the vocational education system, cooperating with universities and businesses to train high-quality human resources to meet the needs of modern and environmentally friendly industries.
