Ninh Binh’s tourism sector records impressive growth in 10 months
In October, the province welcomed 380,000 tourist arrivals with guests staying at tourist accommodation establishment amounting to 130,000, up 11.90% and 7.69%, respectively, compared to the same period last year.
Revenue from tourism reached 511 billion VND in October, up 9.56% year on year.
In the January-October period, Ninh Binh served over 7.68 million visitors, representing a year-on-year rise of 30.86% and 2.4% higher than the yearly plan. The number of guests staying overnight reached 1.64 million, 1.5-fold rise.
In the reviewed period, the tourism sector earned over 7.77 trillion VND in revenue, posting a year-on-year rise of 40.34% and making up 94.22% of the yearly plan.
Various events and activities were held in October and attracted a large number of domestic and foreign visitors such as the Music of ABBA, the Cuisine Festival of Ninh Binh and the Trang An – Cuc Phuong hot air balloon.
