Ninh Binh retains place in top attractions in Vietnam
During the nine-day Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday, tourist destinations in the province served over 700,000 visitors; and the tourism sector earned nearly 1 trillion VND in revenue. These results has helped Ninh Binh to retain its place among the top attractions in the country.
Nguyen Cao Tan, Vice Director of the provincial Department of Tourism, said the department directed tourist destinations to ensure social order, environment, upgrade the landscape and improve infrastructure in a bid to provide better experiences for holidaymakers.
Venerable Thích Minh Quang, Chairman of the Executive Board of the provincial Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, said apart from enhancing the communication work, Bai Dinh pagoda has also used QR codes to provide available information for travellers. In addition, volunteers are arranged to regulate traffic for tourists.
The positive signs right at the beginning of the year have proved the attractiveness of Ninh Binh’s tourism and contributed to realising the goal of welcoming over 9.1 million tourist arrivals in 2025.
With magnificent landscapes and rich cultural and spiritual values, Ninh Binh continues to affirm itself as one of the leading destinations in the country.
