In 2026, the province strives to complete over 6,000 social house units.
To present, eight projects are under construction; eight others are scheduled to start construction in this year.
Bai Vien project of building social housing apartments in Thanh Nam ward, using floor area of about 67,000 sqr meters, is expected to provide 324 appartments in the period 2025-2026; 304 appartments in the period 2026-2028 and 472 apartments in the period 2028-2030 for low-income people.
By mid - Arpil, 2026, the project is being carried out urgently. Over 100 workers are working at the construction site.
Nguyen Trong Phu, Director of Nam Dinh Joint stock company of urban investment and development, who is also investor of the project, said: With current progress, by the end of 2026, the project will be complete, and provide 324 apartments as planned.
In parallel with construction, investor is working with clients who wish to understand about the condition, procedures and price of apartment.
Bai Vien project is among 37 social housing projects in the province. To present, eight projects are under construction; eight others are scheduled to start construction in this year.
These projects meet the needs of not only low-income workers but also public servants, teachers, and armed forces personnel.
They are project of building social housing apartments for police officers in Hoa Lu ward; Project on building service, domitory houses for workers at Dong Van 4 industrial zone; social housing for medical staff of Bach Mai hospital in Liem Tuyen ward; and other social housing projects in Kim Thanh, Le Ho, Ha Nam wards, Thanh Liem commune, Nam Dinh ward.
Under pressure of schedule and fulfilling goals set for the year, Ninh Binh is focusing all resources, molibising coordination of local sectors, branches, firms to accelerate social housing projects.
Director of Ninh Binh’s Department of Construction Nguyen Van Luong, said: The province is drastically steered the construction of social housing projects in a bid to realise the target set by PM of completing over 6,000 apartments in 2026.
