Ninh Binh earns over 1 trillion VND from tourism during April 30–May 1 holidays
Tourism revenue reached over 1 trillion VND (43.4 million USD), up by 43.9% from the same period last year.
The average occupancy rate was between 85-90% with an average stay of two nights per guest.
The rise in travel was bolstered by a wide array of cultural events and tourism programmes such as the programme “Heritage for life”; the opening ceremony of Ninh Binh craft villages at Tam Coc – Bich Dong tourist site; the Vietnam conical hat Festival 2025; a large-scale traditional costume show entitled “Silken Splendour of Hoa Lu” on Trang An water; the immersive outdoor performance entitled “Dancing Colours of Hoa Lu” at the Tam Coc boat pier, and a minishow on the floating stage on the Tam Coc River, featuring renowned artists such as Vu Cat Tuong, Bui Cong Nam, and Phuong Phuong Thao.
These have contributed to advertising broadly Ninh Binh tourism to domestic and international travellers.
The Department of Tourism said the April 30–May 1 holiday not only brought more revenue to the local tourism sector but also affirmed the position of Ninh Binh as a safe and attractive destination.
The close coordination of local sectors, branches and localities in organising events, ensuring security, hygiene and environment and quality of services has made contributions to the success of the holiday.
