The "Vietnam Summer Camp" is an annual programme organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, attracting the participation of a large number of Vietnamese young people and students abroad.
Accordingly, the Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee has assigned relevant agencies to proactively coordinate with the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to implement the programme's contents, ensuring thoroughness, safety, and effectiveness during the time the overseas Vietnamese youths and students return to participate in activities in the province on July 14, 2026.
This is a practical activity aimed at creating conditions for the younger generation of overseas Vietnamese to gain a deeper understanding of the nation's history, culture, and traditions, while strengthening their attachment to the homeland, contributing to consolidating national unity, and promoting the resources of the overseas Vietnamese community in the cause of national construction and development.
To ensure the programme's success, the Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee has assigned the Department of Foreign Affairs as the focal point for coordination with the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese to develop and arrange the work programme and organise the delegation's activities according to the set plan.
Simultaneously, they will assign staff to support and interpret for the delegation, creating favourable conditions for the members throughout their participation in activities within the province.
The Department of Tourism is tasked with leading and coordinating with the Department of Foreign Affairs to develop a programme of sightseeing and introducing the unique cultural, historical, and scenic values of the province.
In addition, the Department of Public Security is tasked with leading and coordinating with relevant units to ensure security, order, and traffic safety throughout the programme.
The Department of Health will lead the implementation of measures to ensure food safety and hygiene, provide healthcare, and prepare necessary medical plans to serve the delegation during their stay and participation in activities in the province.
Ninh Binh province's participation in coordinating the programme is an opportunity for the province to promote the image of its land, people, and culture.
