The Ministry of Public Security and the People’s Committee of Ninh Binh province on October 2 held a ground-breaking ceremony in Quy Nhat commune to build houses for families severely affected by Typhoon Bualoi.

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha urged local athorities and relevant agencies to remain vigilant, and instructed police forces to ensure residents stay indoors from 11:00 to 18:00 on August 25 while chairing an emergency meeting on the same day to direct response measures to Typhoon Kajiki, the fifth storm to hit the East Sea this year.
As Typhoon Wipha is approaching, residents in Ninh Binh, Bac Ninh, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, and Thanh Hoa have taken proactive measures.
