The National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee convened its 53rd session in Ha Noi on January 12.
The NA Standing Committee adopted a resolution on the first adjustment to the structure, composition, and number of candidates nominated for the 16th NA, and approved a plan to supervise and inspect the election.
The National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee reviewed the summary reports on the 2021-2026 working term of the State President and the Government on September 22 as part of its ongoing 49th session.
NA Chairman Tran Thanh Man said that the session will be conducted in three phases, covering 32 official agenda items and several reserve matters. The top legislator stressed that this is an important gathering to prepare for the 10th session, the last of the 15th parliament, while swiftly implementing new missions in accordance to laws, ensuring the completion of the legislature’s agenda.
National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man highlighted that the committee had reviewed and given opinions on 17 items through direct discussion, alongside several items considered in writing, preparing key matters for the NA's 10th session.
The 48th session of the National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee opened in Ha Noi on August 11.
