Chairing and delivering the opening remarks, NA Chairman Tran Thanh Man noted that there are only 13 days left before voters head to the polls for the election of deputies to the 16th NA and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026 2031 term, scheduled for March 15.
National Assembly (NA) Vice Chairman Nguyen Khac Dinh on February 27 called on the northern province of Ninh Binh to devote maximum efforts to preparations for the upcoming election of deputies to the 16th NA and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026 2031 term.
Stressing the need to raise the sense of responsibility in law drafting among ministries and sectors and in bill verification among NA agencies, Chairman Man demanded stronger supervision of the enforcement of laws, decrees and circulars in 2026, warning that poor performance would undermine the longevity of legislation.
