Provincial leaders pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh, fallen heroes and martyrs

The delegation paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh, fallen heroes and martyrs, former senior Party and State leaders, and outstanding revolutionary leaders on the occasion.

On the morning of August 28, the delegation offered incense at the temples dedicated to King Dinh Tien Hoang and King Le Dai Hanh in Tay Hoa Lu ward, as well as the provincial Martyrs’ Temple and the provincial Monument to Fallen Heroes and Martyrs in Hoa Lu ward.

The ceremony was attended by Tran Dang Quynh, Alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee; Le Quoc Chinh, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Council; Mai Van Tuat, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Head of the provincial delegation of National Assembly Deputies; Dinh Thi Lua, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; and other officials.

In a solemn and sacred atmosphere, the delegation offered incense in commemoration of King Dinh Tien Hoang and expressed gratitude for the contributions of the monarch and those who defeated and pacified the 12 warlords, paving the way for the establishment of Vietnam’s first centralised feudal state.

The delegation then offered incense in commemoration of President Ho Chi Minh and fallen heroes and martyrs at the provincial Martyrs’ Temple and laid a wreath at the provincial Monument to Fallen Heroes and Martyrs, expressing profound gratitude to outstanding sons and daughters of the homeland who laid down their lives for national independence and freedom and the happiness of the people.

Before the spirits of the kings, President Ho Chi Minh and fallen heroes and martyrs, the Party Committee, administration, armed forces and people of Ninh Binh pledged to uphold and promote the province’s patriotic, revolutionary and heroic traditions; strengthen solidarity and unity; overcome difficulties and challenges; and strive to successfully fulfil the goals and tasks set out in the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress and the Resolution of the first Ninh Binh provincial Party Congress for the 2025 2030 tenure.

The province also aims to build Ninh Binh into an increasingly prosperous, civilised and modern locality and realise its goal of becoming a centrally governed city before 2030, characterised as a Millennium Heritage City.

Also on the morning of August 28, a provincial delegation led by Quynh offered incense at the memorial house dedicated to Ta Uyen, former Secretary of the Southern Region Party Committee, in Yen Mac commune and paid tribute at the tomb of former President Tran Dai Quang in Quang Thien commune.

Another delegation led by Chinh visited the memorial dedicated to fallen soldiers in Nam Dinh ward, the monument and memorial site dedicated to late Party General Secretary Truong Chinh in Xuan Hong commune, and the memorial site dedicated to Le Duc Tho in Hong Quang ward.

Meanwhile, Tuat and Lua together with a provincial delegation, laid wreaths and offered incense in tribute to President Ho Chi Minh and fallen heroes and martyrs at the Martyrs’ Temple in the Ha Nam area, the temple dedicated to the 10 Lam Ha militiawomen, and the memorial house dedicated to Luong Khanh Thien, former Secretary of the Northern Region Party Committee, in Ha Nam ward./.
