The Ninh Binh provincial People’s Committee held a ceremony on May 23 afternoon to kick off the Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2025 in Tam Coc - Bich Dong tourist area.A special art programme at the opening ceremony.
Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2025 officially opens
Themed “Yellow Colour of Tam Coc - Trang An”, the tourism week is held annually to honour the magnificent beauty of nature and outstanding cultural heritages.
In his opening remarks, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Tran Song Tung, who is also head of the organising board, stressed that Tam Coc’s rice fields have been voted as one of the top five most beautiful rice fields in Vietnam by Business Insider.

The harmonic and converged beauty of nature, mountains and rivers of Tam Coc has attracted visitors and inspired artists to create their works.
Ninh Binh people have been continuing to uphold and promote these values to develop sustainably, spread the values of heritages, connect regions and open up space for development, thus joining the whole country to step into the new era, he said.
The Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2025 features a wide range of cultural activities and tourism products such as a tour to explore Tam Coc paddy field’s master artwork depicting the picture of “Carps leaping over dragon gate” and agricultural rituals; an exhibition of traditional craft villages and OCOP products.
A photo tour titled "Trang An Yellow Season" will be held along with many other cultural programmes such as famtrip to survey and introduce tourism products; art exhibition; water puppet shows, cheo (traditional opera), xam singing, a cuisine festival and a FORESTIVAL music show.
At the opening ceremony, participants and local people enjoyed traditional rituals which was held on Ngo Dong river, including a procession of flags a procession of typical farm products of regions across the country, and goong performance.
