Ninh Binh serves over 720,000 holiday-makers during New Year holiday

The outcome was attributed to array of diverse culture, cuisine, tourism events.

Notably, Ninh Binh Cuisine Tourism Festival 2025 under the theme "The Quintessence of Cuisine of the Ancient Capital"; art programmes combined with firework at 3-2 Square in Nam Dinh ward and “Music concert” night combined with firework at Sun Urban city’s square in Phu Ly ward.

The Phoco countdown 2026 and firework display was held at Hoa Lu Old Quarter, featured with special art programmes…attracted a thousand of visitors.

Meanwhile, Cuc Phuong National Park offered a fresh experience with new tourism product called "Sowing Green Seeds, Starting the New Year Amidst the Great Forest" programme, combining eco-tourism with message of preserving nature for sustainable development.

One of highlight is Ninh Binh Cuisine Tourism Festival 2025. With the participation of 200 booths, 87 craft villages, cooperatives, firms, 25 craftmen and chiefs from 13 cities, provinces nationwide, the Festival have lured 100,000 guests.

During the period, Ninh Binh welcomed around 723,000 visitors, including 177,974 foreign tourists and 545,088 domestic guests.

The average room occupancy rate was over 85%. From January 1^st to 3^rd, the occupancy rate reached 95% to 100% at some key tourist sites in Hoa Lu, Nam Hoa Lu, Tay Hoa Lu wards.

Notably, local accommodation establishments, tourist sites have strictly complied with regulations on pricing, price listing, service quality control, social order, environmental hygiene, and food safety.

In parralel, the tourism promotion has been stepped up on public media, social media, thus contributing to spread the image of Ninh Binh as a safe, friendly destination with rich identity.
