Ninh Binh province, Japan's Gunma prefecture sign MoU on cooperation

As part of their working visit to Ninh Binh, a delegation of Gunma prefecture (Japan) and leaders of the Ninh Binh provincial People’s Committee held talks and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on bilateral cooperation.

Ninh Binh’s delegation was led by Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Pham Quang Ngoc while the Gunma delegation was headed by the prefecture’s Governor Yamamoto Ichita.
At the talks, the two sides briefed participants on potential, strengths and socio-economic situation of Ninh Binh province and Gunma prefecture as well as their development orientations and demands for international cooperation.

Gunma prefecture’s enterprises introduced specific activities in key industries such as silk industry, aircraft, high-tech industries, automobile manufacturing industry, electricity, electronics, tourism, and human resource training.
The delegates exchanged and discussed issues related to mechanisms, policies, and incentives to attract investment in Ninh Binh province; learned about the construction of airports, deep-water ports, processing industry, human resource training of universities, and infrastructure for building industrial parks.

Later, the delegation of Gunma prefecture conducted a field survey of Sun Group's projects in Ha Nam ward to learn about the investment environment and approach specific projects, thereby opening up opportunities for cooperation and investment in a practical and effective manner./.
