Ninh Binh approves 1.9 trillion VND road project

The Provincial People's Committee has issued a decision approving the investment policy for the project to build a road from provincial road DT.490 to Con Xanh in its first phase.

Under the decision, the project will be implemented in Rang Dong commune, with the road stretching about 9km and designed with four lanes. Construction is scheduled to take three years, from 2026 to 2028, with total investment of more than 1.9 trillion VND sourced from the provincial budget.

The road will start at the intersection with provincial road DT.490 at Km46+200/DT.490 and end at the Ta Day dike.

The project aims to connect the Ninh Co Economic Zone with the North-South Expressway (CT.01) and the Ninh Binh-Hai Phong Expressway (CT.08), helping ensure smooth and safe traffic while meeting the transport needs of local residents and projects in the area.

The Provincial People's Committee has assigned the Investment and Construction Project Management Board No. 2 to act as the project owner and urgently coordinate the completion of the feasibility study report.

Relevant agencies and units are responsible for implementing the project with quality, efficiency and in line with the set schedule, while strengthening the management and use of investment funds to prevent losses and waste./.
