Work starts on housing project for public security force in Ninh Binh

Attending the ceremony were Lieutenant General Dang Hong Duc, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security; Major General Nguyen Khac Cuong, Director of the Construction and Barracks Department of the Ministry of Public Security; and representatives from the Ministry of Public Security's Office and various professional departments.

The ceremony also saw the attendance of Dinh Van Hung, former Member of the Party Central Committee, former Secretary of the Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee; Tran Dang Quynh, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Tran Anh Dung, Member of the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and Lieutenant Colonel Cu Quoc Thang, Member of the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Provincial Department of Public Security; among others.

The project covers an area of 90,100 sq.m, with a total investment of over 4.86 trillion VND, including social housing, commercial housing, and a comprehensive technical infrastructure system.

Upon completion, the project is expected to provide approximately 2,660 social housing units and 110 commercial housing units.

According to the plan, Phase 1 of the project will commence in the first quarter of 2026 and be completed in the first quarter of 2028.

The project is hoped to contribute to the formation of a civilised, safe, and modern residential area. At the same time, it will help public security officers and soldiers stabilise their housing, improve their quality of life, and create conditions for them to work with peace of mind, successfully fulfilling their tasks of protecting national security and ensuring social order and safety in the province.

Speaking at the ceremony, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security Lieutenant General Dang Hong Duc requested the units to focus on implementing the project, ensuring the progress and quality of the construction. He also urged them to promptly resolve any difficulties and obstacles that arise and to fully comply with all legal regulations on investment, construction, land, environment, and social housing.

The investor and construction units need to focus maximum resources, organise construction scientifically, safely, according to design and standards, and ensure the quality of the project, he stressed.

On behalf of the provincial authorities, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Dung stated that the province will always support and create favourable conditions for the project to be implemented according to plan.

This is a project of special importance, contributing to concretising the policies of the Party, the State, and the province in caring for the lives of officers and soldiers, thus enabling them to perform tasks to ensure security and order for the peaceful life of the people.

To ensure the project is implemented on schedule, safely, and with quality, Dung requested the investor to focus all available human resources, materials, and equipment, and kick off the work immediately after the groundbreaking ceremony.

Simultaneously, the investor needs to closely coordinate with provincial agencies and units, apply appropriate and advanced construction solutions, and strive to complete the project ahead of schedule, he said.

Dung also requested provincial departments and agencies, and the People's Committee of Hoa Lu ward to continue to pay attention to, support, closely coordinate and create favourbale conditions for the investor and contractors to carry out the project in accordance with regulations, ensuring progress, quality, and efficiency./.
