The Department of Tourism and the Association of Tourism of Ninh Binh province, and Tourism Magazine have recently had a working session with TikTok Viet Nam to launch the Ninh Binh tourism promotion programme through the short video app TikTok called #HelloNinh Binh.
This is part of the national tourism promotion campaign initiated by TikTok with the name #HelloVietnam to honour interesting destinations nationwide through short videos.
The programme was officially launched in June 2019 under the sponsorship of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, Tourism Magazine, VTVcab, TikTok Vietnam and localities nationwide.
The first programme entitled #HelloDanang, introduced from June 15 to 30, has attracted 12,000 participants with nearly 14,000 videos. These videos were seen by 79 million viewers.
Ninh Binh is the seccnd province toimplement the programme. With 12 million users nationwide and more than one billion users worldwide, the TikTok app provides the program that utilizes technology to boost its tourismcontent and introduce the country's beautitul landscapes to both local and foreign audiences. In the 2019-2020 period, the #HelloVietnam programme aims to create 30,000 short videos that feature the country's landscapes, culture, and people.
