At the programme.
The Hanoi Department of Tourism, the Ninh Binh Department of Tourism, the Quang Ninh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and Hanoi Tourism JSC jointly organised the Vietnam Japan Tourism Business B2B Networking Programme in Hanoi on May 28.
The event was held as part of a tourism famtrip exploring Hanoi, Ninh Binh, and Quang Ninh from May 25 to 29, with the participation of representatives from Japanese travel agencies and tourism companies.
The programme was designed to enhance destination promotion, expand international tourism markets - particularly the Japanese market - and strengthen tourism linkages among Hanoi, Ninh Binh, and Quang Ninh.
A key highlight of the event was a series of business meetings, product presentations, and direct networking sessions between Vietnamese tourism enterprises and Japanese tour operators.
Director of the Ninh Binh Department of Tourism speaks at the event.
During the programme, representatives of the Ninh Binh Department of Tourism introduced the province’s tourism potential, competitive advantages, and development strategy. They also emphasised the province’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with Japanese travel companies in product development, tour connectivity, market exchange, and service quality enhancement for international visitors.
Ninh Binh identifies Japan as one of its most promising source markets, particularly well-suited to high-quality tourism products that offer rich cultural experiences, stunning landscapes, heritage exploration, and premium leisure travel.
Through this initiative, Ninh Binh’s tourism industry expects to expand cooperation with Japanese partners, promote two-way tourist exchanges, and strengthen destination marketing through international media channels and global tour distribution networks. The programme also provides an opportunity for local tourism businesses to further refine their products, improve service quality, and enhance professionalism, hospitality, safety, and visitor experiences to better meet the expectations of Japanese travellers./.
