    Prime Minister Le Minh Hung and his visiting Lao counterpart Sonexay Siphandone held talks in Ha Noi on June 7, during which they sought measures to further elevate bilateral ties to a new height and specify the “strategic cohesion” dimension in the Viet Nam-Laos relations.

    Investment-

    Both sides pointed to substantive, positive outcomes in cultural and tourism cooperation from 2021-2025, citing successful cultural weeks in each country, cultural and art activities marking important occasions of the two Parties and countries, and the effective delivery of agreements reached by leaders that further fostered the special Vietnam Laos relationship.

    During his stay in Vientiane, Politburo member and permanent member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat Tran Cam Tu is scheduled to meet with senior Lao leaders on major orientations to further promote comprehensive cooperation, focusing on effectively implementing existing agreements and deepening the bilateral relations in a way that brings tangible benefits to people in both countries.

The CPV stands ready to work closely with the LPRP to further deepen the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation, and strategic cohesion between Vietnam and Laos, he said, considering this relationship an invaluable asset, a rule of development, and a key factor ensuring the success of each country’s revolutionary cause today and in the future.
