Vietnam was re-elected by member states as Vice President of the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference, taking place from October 30 to November 13 in Samarkand, Uzbekistan.

Vietnam was re-elected by member states as Vice President of the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference, taking place from October 30 to November 13 in Samarkand, Uzbekistan.
The 10th political consultation between the Vietnamese and Lao Ministries of Foreign Affairs took place on July 8 in the Lao capital of Vientiane under the chair of Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Manh Cuong and his Lao counterpart Phongsamouth Anlavan.
