Provincial leaders offer incense to commemorate national heroes and martyrs

On July 24, a delegation of the Ninh Binh Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, laid wreaths and offered incense at the province's martyr Memorial site and province's martyr monument in Hoa Lu ward; Martyr’s Memorial Site in Nam Dinh area; Ha Nam’s Martyr monument, Lam Ha’s Temple worshipping ten young female volunteers and Memorial House of comrade Luong Khanh Thien in Ha Nam ward, ahead of the 79th anniversary of Vietnam's War Invalids and Fallen Soldiers' Day (July 27, 1947-2026).

Attending the incense offering ceremony were Le Quoc Chinh, Vice Secretary of provincial party committee, Chairman of the provincil people’s committee; Mai Van Tuat,Vice Secretary of provincial party committee and Head of provincial delegation of NA deputies; Dinh Thi Lua, Vice Secretary of provincial party committee and President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Binh province.
At these visiting sites, delegates offered incense and laid flowers in commemoration of the late President Ho Chi Minh and pay tribute to fallen soldiers.

In a solemn ceremony, the delegations observed a minute's silence in remembrance of the fallen soldiers who sacrificed their youth and lives for the nation's independence and freedom and the well-being of its people.
During Viet Nam's struggles for national liberation, millions of Ninh Binh soldiers, young volunteers participated in the two resistances wars against French colonialism and America invaders. 72,000 of them lost their lives.
The province is now has 5,617 Vietnamese heroic mothers and nearly 87,000 wounded and sick soldiers.
In front of the hallowed memorial to the heroic martyrs, late leader, the provincial authorities expressed their deep gratitude to the sacrifice of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, heroes of the people's armed forces, labour heroes, war invalids, sick soldiers, relatives of martyrs, veterans, and all those who rendered services to the nation, and vowed to unite, overcome difficulties, determine to fulfill Resolutions set by the first congress of the provincial party organisation for the tenure 2025-2939; thus laying solid foundation for realising the goal building Ninh Binh into a centrally-run city before 2030.
