Provincial leaders offer incense at Hoa Lu ancient capital historical relic site

The festival aims to commemorate and honor national hero Dinh Bo Linh (924-979), who defeated 12 warlords to unite the country and ascend the throne with the title Dinh Tien Hoang. 

Chairman of provincial people's council Mai Van Tuat and Chairman of provincial people's committee Pham Quang Ngoc along with representatives of local departments and agencies attended the event.

The delegation offered incenses at King Dinh Tien Hoang temple and King Le Dai Hanh temple at Hoa Lu historical relic site in Truong Yen commune.

At visiting sites, the participants observed a minute's silence to commemorate the great contribution of King Dinh Tien Hoang, King Le Dai Hanh who defeated 12 warlords to unite the country and found the first feudal state of Dai Co Viet.

In a sacred atmotsphere, the provincial authorities vowed to uphold brave tradition of ancestor to unite, overcome difficulties, determine to develop Ninh Binh strongly and sustainably and realize the goals of building Ninh Binh into a centrally-run city by 2035 with characteristics of millenium urban heritage and creative city.
