The Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2023 is expected to last for eight days at Tam Coc - Bich Dong tourism area, Trang An ecological tourism site and some tourist destinations across the province.
The highlight of this week is the opening ceremony, which is expected to take place at 7:30 am on May 27. All activities of the opening ceremony will be held on the stage set up in the paddy field of Tam Coc.
This year, the paddy field is cultivated into the shape of the picture "Ly ngu vong nguyet" (carp playing with the full moon) on an area of over 95.000 sq.m along Ngo Dong river.
The artwork of the paddy field aims to honour the importance of agricultural production and to show the desire for national peace, wealthy people, favourable weather conditions and bumper crops.
A number of interesting activities will be also organised, namely a walking street; a fair to showcase traditional handicraft products and OCOP products; photo tours, famtrip tours to introduce Ninh Binh's tourism products; a photo exhibition to mark the Tran Dynasty's culture in Trang An heritage...
Attending the tourism week, visitors can enjoy various cultural and musical activities performed by artists coming from different areas in the country, namely water puppetry, Cheo singing and Xam singing.
