Since beginning of 2025, the province has created jobs for over 3,600 labourers, making 18.8% of the yearly plan. Of them, 189 were sent to work abroad under contracts, accounting for 13.5% of the plan.
According to experts, the overseas labour markets have expanded, promising a bright future for labourers of Vietnam in general and Ninh Binh province in particular. Key traditional markets such as Taiwan, Japan and the RoK have continued to receive large numbers of Vietnamese guest workers.
Besides, new markets such as Germany, Bulgaria and Romani have also opened their doors for Vietnamese guest workers, including those from Ninh Binh.
To realise the targets, right from the beginning of the year, the provincial Centre for Employment Service has enhanced the communication work to popularise information to local sectors, branches, units and those returning from military service.
At the same time, the province has paid special attention to training labourers for working abroad. They are provided with training courses to improve their qualifications as well as professional skills in order to get access to demanding markets with high incomes.
It has also encouraged trainees in vocational training facilities to work abroad. These facilities will serve as bridges to provide information to their students and orient them to look for suitable markets with higher incomes.
