These days, streets across Ninh Binh are festooned with flags, flowers, banners and slogans welcoming the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, creating a solemn yet festive atmosphere ahead of the event.

The 14th National Congress of the Communist Party affirms its role as a turning point in the cause of national construction and defense, while marking 100 years of the Party's leadership of the Vietnamese Revolution.

Symbol of the hammer and sickle, the Party falg and national flag are displayed along roads.

The close bond between the Party and the people continues to serve as solid foundation and a decisive source of strength for the country's new stage of development.

The 14th National Congress aims to realise the two centenary strategic goals, striving to make Vietnam a developed, high income country by 2045 that is peaceful, independent, democratic, prosperous, civilised and happy.
