Ninh Binh accelerates progress of Bai Dinh – Ba Sao road project
The Bai Dinh – Ba Sao project’s section running through Ninh Binh (second phase) has a total length of 17.26 kilommeters, running through five communes of Gia Vien district. It has total investment capital of 583 billion VND (24.8 million USD).
To date, 3.7km out of the total 7.6 kilometers have been cleared and has been handed over to the contractor. The remaining reclaimed land in Gia Phuong and Gia Hoa communes has not been cleared and handed over due to disputes related to compensation plans.
In order to speed up construction of the project, the Ninh Binh provincial People’s Committee has sent an official dispatch directing the implementation.
As scheduled, the project will be implemented in four years (from 2021 to 2025). There is only 9 months left while a huge workload has not been finished and site clearance still faces numerous difficulties and hindrances.
The provincial People’s Committee asked Gia Vien district to coordinate with related agencies and units to tackle hindrances and rebuild affected technical infrastructure works so as to soon hand over cleared land to the contractor.
