The 2023 National Junior Doubles Tennis Championship opened on July 6 in the northern province of Ninh Binh, with the participation of over 100 players.
The organisers present flags to the participating teams.
The players belong to 12 delegations, including Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Military, Da Nang, Thai Nguyen, Son La, Kien Giang, Vinh Phuc, Bac Giang, Bac Ninh, Thai Binh and Ninh Binh.
They will compete in six events: men's doubles and women's doubles in the three age groups of under 14, under 16 and under 18.
The tournament is part of the national high-performance tournament system designed to create a playground for young tennis players to train and enhance their skills.
It will also help select talented players for the national team to prepare for international competitions in the future.
