Decision on merging Ninh Binh Newspaper with Ninh Binh Radio and Television Station announced

Attending the event were member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Doan Minh Huan; Standing Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Council Mai Van Tuan; and members ofthe Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee, among others.

At the meeting, Head of the provincial Party Committee's Organisation Board To Van Tu announced the provincial Party Committee’s decision on merging the Ninh Binh Newspaper and the Ninh Binh Radio and Television Station intothe Ninh Binh Newspaper and Radio -Television Station. The newly-merged agency will officially go into operation from May 2, 2025.

The decisions on personnel of the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee were also announced at the event.

Accordingly, Bui Ngoc Quang, member of the provincial Party Committee and Editor-in-Chief of the Ninh Binh Newspaper, was appointed as Editor-in-Chief of the Ninh Binh Newspaper andRadio - Television Station.

Le Manh Hung, Director of the Ninh Binh Radio and Television Station;Nguyen Dinh Chuyen, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Ninh Binh Newspaper; Nguyen Van Sai,  Deputy Director of the Ninh Binh Radio and Television Station; and Pham Kim Hue, Deputy Director of the Ninh Binh Radio and Television Station, were appointed as Deputy Editors-in-Chief of the Ninh Binh Newspaper and Radio - Television Station.

Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Doan Minh Huan asked the Ninh Binh Newspaper and Radio - Television Station to continue to follow the province’s projectand guidance to rearrange its apparatus, prepare infrastructure  and build regulations to put the newly-mergedagency into operation on May 2, 2025 as scheduled.

The leadership of the Ninh Binh Newspaper and Radio - Television Station needs to build a relationship of solidarity and unity; build strategies and development plans, exploit the strengths of each type of journalism to the fullest, demonstrating the strong transformation and breakthrough of revolutionary journalism when entering a new era, the era of the nation’s rise.

They need to continue to pay attention to building a team of reporters and technical staff with strong political will, good moral qualities, good professional qualifications; apply science and technology, innovation, digital transformation in order to further improve the quality of journalism products, he said.

Huan emphasised, in the context of preparing to merge the three provinces of Ha Nam, Nam Dinh and Ninh Binh,the Ninh Binh Newspaper and Radio - Television need to restructure while ensuring the successful completion of the task of propagating major policies of the central authorities and the province to local people, in order to promptly and comprehensively reflect the political, economic, cultural, and social life of the province.
