The Workers’ Month 2026 has been launched by trade unions at all levels across Ninh Binh province under the theme “Vietnamese Workers: Innovation and Creativity for Higher Labour Productivity,” with the goal of placing workers at the centre of all activities.
Trade unions at all levels have focused on organising a series of activities associated with the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Hygiene, as well as the 140th anniversary of International Workers’ Day on May 1.
In addition to key activities aimed at caring for and protecting the rights and interests of union members and workers, various programmes have been implemented, including dialogues between workers, Party committees, local authorities, and employers; the “Thank You, Workers” programme; visits and gift-giving for disadvantaged workers; the “Trade Union Meal” programme; welfare booths; discounted sales programmes; and psychological and reproductive health counseling for female workers.

At Vienergy Co., Ltd. in Phuc Son Industrial Park, Dong Hoa Lu ward, the grassroots trade union organised the “Workers’ Festival” featuring lively sports and entertainment activities, along with various booths offering diverse products, bringing joy to union members, their families, and workers at the company. Similarly, at PV-Inconess Investment Joint Stock Company in Trung Son ward, the company’s grassroots trade union organised an air volleyball tournament for union members and employees.
With a systematic, grassroots-oriented approach that places workers at the center, the Workers’ Month 2026 in Ninh Binh has become a peak campaign period for spreading policies and strengthening the trust of union members and workers in the trade unions.
