Accordingly, Ninh Binh province holds an important position in Vietnam's North-South economic corridor. In 2025, the province's gross regional domestic product (GRDP) expanded by 10.65%and its economic scale reached over 13.6 billion USD. The province is striving to become a centrally-governed city before 2030 and develop in the direction of modern industry, high-quality tourism, green and smart urban areas, linked with the preservation and promotion of heritage values.
Besides industry, tourism, and services, agriculture continues to play an important role in Ninh Binh's economic structure. The province has a relatively comprehensive agricultural sector, including crop cultivation, livestock farming, forestry, and fisheries. In 2025, the value of agricultural, forestry, and fisheries production in Ninh Binh province was estimated to reach approximately 1.61 billion USD, an increase of 2.8% compared to the previous year. This has resulted in the formation of 500 large-scale fields covering over 22,000 hectares, linked to production, processing, and consumption chains.
In the coming time, Ninh Binh province aims to develop agriculture towards a modern, ecological, organic, circular, and multi-value integrated approach; linking agricultural production with ecotourism, community tourism, cultural preservation, and sustainable rural development. The province encourages the application of science, technology, mechanization, and digital transformation in agriculture and the development of safe, high-quality agricultural product value chains that are competitive in the market.
Dung also expressed his confidence that, with the potential, experience, and development needs of each side, Ninh Binh province and the agencies and partners of the Republic of Angola will exchange information, explore, and promote cooperation in areas of mutual interest such as agriculture, forestry, fisheries, environmental protection, rural development, and training.
