A delegation of Ca Mau province on January 26 visited Ninh Binh province and had a working session with local officials.

In his welcome remarks, Tuat underscored that the twinned relationship between Ca Mau and Ninh Binh was set up in 1960. Over the past six decades, the relationship has overcome geological distance and become a vivid manifestation of solidarity between the North and the South and the loyal comradeship.
Inheriting and promoting the fine traditions of their homeland, in recent years, Ninh Binh and Ca Mau provinces have made new and comprehensive progress in various fields such as socio-economic development, national defence and security, Party and political system building.

The Ca Mau province delegation’s working visit and field trip is not only significant for exchanging experiences and strengthening coordination, but also an important opportunity for the two provinces to reflect on their historical relationship, consolidate trust, and deepen the comradely feelings and close ties between the Party Organisations, administrations, and people of the two provinces, he said.
Tuat expressed his confidence that the fraternal relationship between the two provinces will continue to be inherited and developed, contributing to building Ca Mau and Ninh Binh into increasingly prosperous, beautiful, and civilised provinces, together moving steadily into a new era of development for the Vietnamese nation.

Speaking at the meeting, Thuy expressed her belief that the fraternal relationship between Ca Mau and Ninh Binh provinces will continue to be preserved and promoted by present and future generations.
At the conference, delegates heard a report on the socio-economic development situation in 2025; the tasks and key orientations for 2026 and the following years of Ninh Binh province. They also reviewed the tradition of more than six decades of loyal fraternal ties between Ninh Binh and Ca Mau provinces; affirming the responsibility to continue nurturing and concretising this relationship through practical and effective cooperation programmes and activities.
On this occasion, Ninh Binh and Ca Mau provinces exchanged gifts expressing their affection and belief in the increasingly close and strong fraternal relationship, creating a foundation for comprehensive and sustainable cooperation in the future./.
