Bach Mai Hospital’s second facility officially opens

At an inauguration ceremony, Bach Mai Hospital Director Dao Xuan Co said the new facility operates under the same quality standards and treatment protocols as the Hanoi headquarters.

“We aim to develop the Ninh Binh facility into a leading center for high-tech specialized medicine in Vietnam and gradually establish it as a reputable medical hub in the region and globally,” said Mr Co.

The facility has a capacity of 1,000 beds and provides more than 11,000 technical medical services. It welcomed thousands of patients on its first day of operation.

To support staff traveling between Bach Mai Hospital and its Ninh Binh facility, Vietnam Railways has launched a Hanoi Phu Ly train service operating Monday to Friday.

The facility has a capacity of 1,000 beds, includes 37 departments, implements 11,164 technical medical services, and employs nearly 1,300 staff members.

It is organized as a comprehensive multi-specialty hospital with strengths in emergency and intensive care, toxicology, cardiology, neurology and stroke, respiratory medicine, gastroenterology and hepatobiliary medicine, nephrology and dialysis, endocrinology and diabetes, hematology and blood transfusion, oncology and nuclear medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, diagnostic imaging, and advanced laboratory services.
