Chairman of the PCC Inspection Commission presents Tet gifts to Ninh Binh workers

Tran Cam Tu, Chairman of the PCC Inspection Commission on January 13 joined a programme to present gifts to workers in the northern province of Ninh Binh ahead of the traditional 2020 Lunar New Year (Tet).

Speaking at the program, Mr Tu spoke highly of Ninh Binh province’s achievements over the years in all fields, including politics, socio – economic development and budget collection, among others.

In addition, the province was a bright spot in providing support for people who rendered great services to the nation, policy beneficiaries and poor people, he added.

He voiced his hope that the locality will continue enhancing solidarity to contribute to the province’s development and pay due attention to the implementation of social welfare policies for the disadvantaged workers.

On the occasion, Mr Tu and Ninh Binh authorities presented 50 Tet gifts to poor and disadvantaged workers in Tam Diep city and Nho Quan district; 70 million VND to them, and providing fund to build new house for disadvantaged workers in the locality.

Same day, Mr Tu and his delegation visited Mrs Lao Thi Muot (100 year old), mother of martyr, who resides in Yen Son commune,Tam Diep city.
