The total revenue from Ninh Binh's tourism industry was estimated to reach 3,8 trillion VND (165 million USD) in the first half of 2023, a 2,94 folds rise over the same period last year, according to Ninh Binh Department of Tourism.

In June alone, Ninh Binh welcomed nearly 400 thousands visitors, a rise of 8.14% over the same period in 2022.
During the January-June period, Ninh Binh received 4.53 million visitors, a 2.5 folds rise against the same period last year. Of the total, the province saw 224 thousand foreign visitors.
The tourism growth is attributed to numerous measures to boost new tourism products, improve the quality of services.
Various activities, programmes have been held to attract visitors, namely Trang An festival, Bai Dinh festival, Hoa Lu festival, Tourism week of Tam Coc - Trang An....
The Department continues to increase the quality of services, improve tourism products in an attempt to achieve the target of welcoming over 5.35 million visitors in the whole year and earn over 5.1 trillion VND (218 million USD) in revenue.
