Ninh Binh province launches smart tourism app

The app, exclusively reserved for visitors to Ninh Binh, will help connect managers, local people, tourists and tourism companies.

It will help users search for information related to tourist destinations, traditional festivals, accommodation establishments, restaurants, and  entertainment and shopping facilities in Ninh Binh; and evaluate services.

The department also introduced other  platforms to promote Ninh Binh tourism on social networks.

Director of the Department of Tourism Bui Van Manh said this a step forwards of Ninh Binh in building and perfectinga smart tourism system and an important boost for the province's tourism products gain a meritorious position and attracting more tourists. 

In the past years, Ninh Binh has paid attention to stepping up digital transformation and applying information technologies in managing and developing tourism, he said.

Thanks to these efforts, Ninh Binh has always ranked among the top 10 popular destinations in the country, and has been voted as a friendly and attractive destination in the world by many domestic and foreign travel magazines.
