After the interval, both sides intensified their offenses, aiming to break the goalless deadlock. It was XM The Vissai Ninh Binh who opened the scoring thanks to Van Thanh's strong header from close range in the 58th minute.

In the 80th minute, striker Tien Thanh took a favourable pass from teammate Gustavo Dourado to double the lead for Ninh Binh and seal the final 2-0 score with the home team prevailing.

Despite Sunday's loss, Saigon FC still retain their top spot in the V-League standings with a total of 19 points. Meanwhile, XM The Vissai Ninh Binh won an additional three points to climb to sixth position with 15 points after ten rounds.

Vincem Hai Phong continue to sit at the bottom of the standings with just six points following their disappointing loss against Becamex Binh Duong at Lach Tray stamdium last weekend.
