The Trang An Marathon 2023 will be held on November 11 and 12 at the special national relic site of Hoa Lu ancient capital, according to the provincial organising committee.
The Trang An Marathon 2023, the third of its kind, will be jointly organised by the provincial Department of Culture and Sports, and Vu Medial JSC (Vrace).
Nearly 3,000 runners from Vietnam and other countries and territories will compete in four distance categories:5 kilometers, 10 kilometers, 21 kilometers and 42 kilometers.
The oldest runner is 74 years old while the youngest one is 5 years old.
The event is one of activities to celebrate the second Ninh Binh Festival 2023 and promote the image of the land, people and tourism potential of Ninh Binh to domestic and international friends.
