Enterprises in Ninh Binh province's industrial parks (IPs) are making efforts to boost production, thereby fulfilling their yearly tasks and plans. In addition, administrations at all levels, departments and sectors, have always accompanied the enterprises to ease difficulties in terms of mechanisms and polices in a bid to help them revive and develop production and business activities.
Bui Duy Quang, head of management board of the province's IPs, said in September, local firms continued facing difficulties in production and business activities. The shortage of orders has caused great impacts on firms, especially those operating in the fields of textiles and garment, and electronic components. However, due to high selling prices of key products, all criteria saw slight growth.
Specifically, in September, the enterprises' total revenue was estimated at 6.43 trillion VND, down 5% from August, but up 9.3% year on year.
Their total export value was estimated to hit 146.6 million USD, up 4.3% against the same period last year. They contributed 11.6 trillion VND to the state budget in the nine months, equivalent to 116% of the yearly plan.
Though the targets of turnover, export and state budget contribution of these all increased but as compared to the scenarios of growth by the end of September 2022 there were only three out of 11 products enjoying growth quarter on quarter, including footwear, camera modules and electronic components.
Enterprises in the local IPs were assigned to earn over 69 trillion VND in revenue while their export value was set to reach 1.7 billion USD and state budget collection was over 10 trillion VND. These targets are quite high in the current situation
According to the management board, there remained difficulties in production and business, while key products witnessed decreases in output as compared to the same period last year. Some key products might fail to meet their yearly plans and scenarios of growth like automobiles, garments, fertilizers, glasses and cement.
With the determination of firms and the support of the management board and competent agencies, it is expected that the targets of revenue, export, state budget collection in the third quarter and the whole year are basically fulfilled.
In an attempt to create favourable condition for developing industrial production sustainably, the management board has built a plan to implement the provincial Party Committee Standing Board's Resolution No. 06-NQ/TU dated October 11, 2021 and the provincial People's Committee's Plan No 175/KH-UBND dated October 27, 2021 on developing and managing industrial parks and clusters in the province in the period of 2021-2025 with a vision to 2030, Quang said.
At the same time, the board has also accelerated administrative reforms and improved the province's investment and business climate.
In addition, it has also guided enterprises to carry out solutions in terms of tax, fee, custom, and social insurance as well as programmes and plans on industrial development in a timely manner and ensuring quality and effectiveness, he added.
