U20 World Cup: Vietnam loses 0-2 to Honduras

Vietnam’s U20 football team were defeated by Honduras 2-0 in the last match of Group E of the FIFA U20 World Cup in the Republic of Korea on May 28.

With the result, the team were eliminated from the tournament.

Vietnam made history after a 0-0 draw with New Zealand in its first match at the event, becoming the first Southeast Asian team to gain point at the U20 World Cup.

Earlier, U20 Vietnam were thrashed by France rivals 4-0 in its second match.

In Group E, France and New Zealand are qualified for the next round.
