Ninh Binh students excel at 27th National Student Mathematical Olympiad

Four 11th grade students from the Luong Van Tuy High Gifted school in Ninh Binh province won one first, one second, one third and one consolation prize at the 27th National Student Mathematical Olympiad.

The 27th National Student Mathematical Olympiad was held in Nha Trang city, in the central coastal province of Khanh Hoa from April 1- 7.

The event featured the participation of over 650 contestants from 90 universities, academies, colleges and high schools nationwide.

The competitors were tested in their knowledge of algebra, real and complex analytics.

This is the first time Ninh Binh students have attended the olympiad.

The event is not only a playground for students to show their passion formathematics but also an opportunity for teachers to meet and share their experience, contributing to improving the quality of teaching and learning maths.

The 28th National Student Mathematical Olympiad – 2020 will be held in Hue city, Thua Thien – Hue province.
